Birthday Weekend!!!

It's my birthday weekend! Friday Jim surprised me with tickets to see Wicked at the Fox! It was so much fun. I've been wanting to see it since I heard that the show was in town. What a great birthday present! We sat in the balcony and had a great view. The show was outstanding and I had the songs in my head all weekend. I'll never think of the Wizard of Oz the same way.
Baby James is moving, punching, kicking, and rolling. I could really feel him starting on Friday. We was moving a lot when I got a mani/pedi that afternoon and especially at the show when the music was fortissimo.

Yesterday we went to see our friends Duncan and Amanda Norcross at their house to watch the GT game. We hadn't seen each other in over 5 years. The last time was at our wedding. We had a great time and GT won! It is so good to reconnect with old friends.
James did a lot more moving tonight. We watched Public Enemies (set in 1930s crime drama). He really protested during the gunfight scenes. I put a pillow over my belly to protect his ears.

Today Mom and Dad came down to celebrate my birthday. We went to Dakota Blue for brunch/lunch. Mom and Dad gave me some new maternity clothes. I love borrowing the clothes that I have, but it's nice to have some of my own. Mom and I went to the baby consignment store up the street and she bought little James a couple of onesies!

Jim downloaded "Baby got Bach" and put the earphones to my belly so Baby James could listen. I think it lulled him to sleep :)
