Mother's Day

Mother’s Day was so wonderful! And super busy. We went from home to Peachtree City to home to Marietta.
We spent the morning with Gram in Peachtree City. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera. (That’s what happens when you are racing out the door with a husband and 15 month old baby.) James loves Gram! He was so sweet to her. He hugged on her and gave her kisses. He was such a delight. Gram is doing well and we promised to visit in early June before we go to Hawaii.

Next stop-home. Mom and Dad came down for lunch on their way to see Gram. Jim got us Subway and we had a really nice lunch together. Mom and Dad gave me beautiful hanging baskets for the front porch for my second Mother’s Day, and I gave Mom and iTunes gift card. We took some pictures on the back deck. The weather was absolutely perfect!

Happy Mother's Day!

James Mid-Fall. He's OK.
Mom and Dad left for Gram’s place, and James took a nap. He takes one nap a day now and they usually last 1.5 hours. After his nap we went to Marietta to see Jim’s mom and Aaron’s family. We had a lovely cookout and James absolutely loved playing with his cousins Jacob, Audrey, and Emma. Again, he was just a delight. Mom gave me a beautiful rose bush for Mother’s Day, and I can’t wait for Jim to plant it in our front yard!

Family Photo
This weekend we are going to Jazz Night at the High Museum and enjoying some good family time. I have a bridal shower on Saturday for Jennie Long that I’m looking forward to as well.
Life is so good!
