Fourth of July!

We had a great fourth of July, even with all the RAIN! It rained the entire week of the 4th. Not your typical summer weather. Jim and I hosted a small family cookout for our parents. James loved the fourth because of all the corn on the cob and watermelon. I think that's all he ate for at least 2 days.

"Hello?"

On July 3rd, we took James to the Georgia Aquarium for the first time. It was a great day to go because of all the RAIN. And more rain. My shoes were soaked and we had to buy flip flops at the gift shop. LOL.
Wow! Look at the fishes

Big Manta Ray
Whale Shark. Notice how small the kids look at the bottom right.

James is growing and growing and learning more and more words. He loves to say "thank you" and "no." He knows so many words! Cows go moo, birds chirp, and dogs woof.

He started swimming lessons this month. He's not a big fan of them. He clings to me in the water and clamors to get out of the pool. This Saturday Jim will be alone with him at the lesson. I'll be interested to see if he does better with Dad instead of Mom.
