Last weekend, August 27-29, we spent in Savannah. I was already there for the Georgia Environmental Conference for work, so we thought it would be a good idea to extend my trip and have a little vacation. Savannah was great. We did a creepy pub crawl, went to Tybee Island, and walked around the city. Savannah is so beautiful. The squares and parks are one of a kind. We also saw the largest ship ever to come through the Savannah harbor! It holds 8500 containers. There's a picture below, but I couldn't get it into one frame.
Yesterday was the beginning of Georgia Tech football! We have season tickets this year and could reunite with our friends. The weather was perfect! Sunny and cooler than normal. The Yellow Jackets beat the South Carolina State bulldogs. Any win over a bulldog is a good one!!!
Gorgeous ladies from Georgia Tech! (And a handsome little Jacket!)
It's been awhile since I've had a chance to sit down and blog. Life is very busy--I hate that excuse because everyone's life is very busy. But we have been quite busy lately. Jim went to Chicago a couple of weeks ago and my mom came to visit. Before that Jim's mom spent a few days with us. It's been a good month and we are looking forward to Autumn. Football, my birthday (3-0!!!), and much much more. Until next time!
