Visiting Gigi

Last Sunday we took James to visit his great-grandmother (my Gram), who he now calls Gigi. That was her idea, and she insisted "great-grandmother" was too hard for him to say! Well, he can say "Gigi" with the best of them. He loves to visit Gram's place. Everything is at his level and he can grab the phone, A/C unit buttons, TV remote, papers, eyeglasses, necklaces, everything! There's also plenty of snacks!!!

Leigh Margaret was able to visit with us for about an hour too. It's always so good to see her. We played outside and James and Daddy played football on the lawn. Jim, James, and I had dinner with Gram. James loved his grilled cheese sandwich and crackers. He can say "cracker" too.

James knows so many words! He can say "bird" and "chirp." His teacher, Mr. Will, told me how advanced James is for his age and was so surprised at the words he was saying, like "baseball" and "milk."
