We have been busy busy busy nesting! Jim has really gotten into it by steam cleaning all the carpets in the house, installing the car seats, and assembling the stroller. Why didn't I take pictures?
James is busy growing and moving around in my belly. He loves to kick and punch me in the sides and pelvis. I love feeling him move around. I can't believe in just a few weeks he'll be here and I won't be pregnant anymore! We have diapers, wipes, burp cloths, bottles, and the whole kit and kaboodle of baby stuff. At least we think we do. I just know the first few days he is here something will surprise us and we will realize we needed some particular baby item.
I've packed our hospital bags for the most part. I have clothes for the THREE of us and other items, but still need to pack toiletries and the all important camera and charger. Here are some pics of me in the nursery. Poor Goofy. He thinks the nursery is his retirement room. He doesn't understand how he's going to get in the crib!

You might have noticed the very fashionable black boot on my right leg. Pregnancy is a TOTAL body experience from the hair on your head to the bones in your feet. I love to walk and apparently all the walking I was doing caused a stress fracture. My foot was swollen and sore for about 3 weeks before I went to the doctor and he put me in a boot. I've had the boot about 5 days and it's already better. The swelling is down by at least 50%. I'm wearing it until the end of January and then we'll see how I feel.

The tiger rug on the wall was made by my mom and me. I started it when I was nine years old and got about 2/3 of the way done with it. Mom just finished it this summer so we could hang it in the nursery! Isn't it cute? It goes well with our zoo animal theme.
